...." War with in the TBK CREW ".

The funny thing about this whole thing was, I was a member of the WOW crew which SAGO put me in and this coursed some beef between me and TAX 3. One day I was hanging out with the TBK crew and they all heard  I was hanging out with SAGO and the WOW crew over at the Dewy Yard. TAX 3 was pissed off about that and walked over to me and asked why I was hanging out with those dudes? I told him SAGO's my boy and we have been cool for years. He then told me that I can't hang out there any more.

I thought to myself ... Who does this guy think he is, telling me who I can be friends with or can not be friends with and where I could hang out. I told him no ! I think one part of his reasons  why he was upset was that I was getting up hard on the lines and that was due to being allowed to bomb the Dewy Yard which was the biggest train yard in Brooklyn. At the time TAX was not up on the  trains like I was. TAX 3 was not happy with my response and decided to jump me. Taxhung out with a whole bunch of younger

kids, and they tried to surround me.  It was Friday and I looked good with my lapels and my hat to the side.  I was fly and loved to dress. They wanted to jump me so I made a break for it. TBK dressed more like a gang with the leather coats and leather jean jackets.  They were more dirty and I was more into hip hop--- more clean. These guys chased me, I ran like five blocks. I was out of breath and ran on top of cars, dodging bottles and rocks.  I ran so much my thighs were hurting and I wanted to give up. I ran inside a Chinese Restaurant.  It turned into a big riot because when I ran all of these other people ran behind us to see what went on. The manager wanted to throw me out and I refused because I knew if he did they would kill me. But there was an angel. This gang member dressed in leather came out of no where and said "Yo, what happen to you shorty?" He told me to stay there in the restaurant.  He went outside and he was arguing with the kids especially TAX 3. TAX demanded that I come out.  The gang member refused and said, "Nobody is going to touch this kid!"  The guy told me that I was coming with

him and that he was going to take me home and not to worry. The guy ended up being a high ranking member of The Dirty Ones. If I went somewhere else they would have got me and I would have been hurt really bad.

After this whole thing happen  TAX began crossing out my stuff on the trains and I had to do the same. TAX is dead now but I had the chance to make my peace with him before he died.  All of that stuff happened when we were little kids anyways. They killed TAX in a drug deal. They found him 3 days later in a hallway in the dead cold of February. Rest in Peace my brother.

Though I hang out and wrote with many of the members of TBK , I also had strong links with other writing groups through out Brooklyn. I especially had my own crew T.S.T ( The Supreme Team ) which  I started with SAKE / YD 43 in the early 1980's. When cats roll up to me and think I was only a dude who rolled with T.B.K, they got there facts wrong. Two of the crews I rep and that is dearest to me would be definitely M.O.D ( Masters of Disasters ) and W.R ( Writers Revenge ). I was involved with them because I

grew up with Heat who was the President of WR.  We lived in the same neighborhood and went to the same school. MOD too when I lived in Sunset Park. I met WR writing on the freight near Richwood, these two guys approached me and asked me if they could tag with my marker and I said yes but I thought they were going to rip me off because these guys looked real dirty. They asked me "How long have I been there." and I told them I just came here. KP saw me and told the guys that I was ok and that I was cool. If it wasn't for him I probably would have been ripped off. KP said that I was cool because we went to school together. With MOD MR. R

introduced me to a lot of writers. He is a person I have the most respect for and we remained to this very day.

The most over looked writers are definitely OE 3 and Phantom 13.  They are mentioned in books but nothing really in depth. These guys were up on every line and in the tunnels. Even before artists did rooftops and highways they did them. It was unheard to do that back then.  Now I hear allot of writers from Puerto Rico say they were writing out there in 1980 or 1982, which is not true. There wasn't any Graffiti in Puerto Rico during the early 80s the only name I saw during my trips there was OE 3. I saw his stuff  all over the highways back then.
